Are you a nature lover, architecture fanatic, or simply enjoy taking pictures everywhere you go around the Stateline? If so, this challenge is for you! Stateline area residents are invited to submit a photo for entry in the annual 69th District Photo Challenge offered each autumn by State Representative Joe Sosnowski (R-Rockford).

“Our annual photo challenge is a way to celebrate life and nature around the Stateline and recognize the talents of local residents who have a passion for photography,” Representative Sosnowski said. “Each year more and more people submit remarkable snapshots of what makes living and exploring here so exceptional. I enjoy sharing these photos with the community and with visitors to Springfield each year.”

Three winners will be chosen to have their photographs displayed at Representative Sosnowski’s office at the State Capitol in Springfield in 2021 and receive a $50 gift card to their favorite restaurant here in the district, encouraging support for the local restaurant industry hit hard by COVID-19 mitigation measures.

The subject of each photograph must be within Boone County or Winnebago County. Submission deadline is November 20, 2020. Along with your photo, please include your name, address, phone number and location your photo was taken and send it to Representative Sosnowski via e-mail at sosnowski@ilhousegop.org.

Representative Sosnowski serves the 69th District which includes portions of Winnebago and Boone Counties.
