Rep. Joe Sosnowski and Sen. Dave Syverson joined City of Marengo officials, community leaders, engineers, and project partners on Monday for the dedication and ribbon cutting of Marengo’s new Water Filtration Infrastructure Extension. This investment will help ensure safe, high-quality drinking water for residents while supporting future growth and development throughout Marengo.
Following the ribbon cutting, attendees toured the facility and saw firsthand the impressive filtration and treatment equipment that will serve the community for years to come. The project showcases the importance of long-term planning and local investment in essential public services.
