Today, Mercyhealth had a Groundbreaking ceremony at the site of their future Rockford facility. The project will create over a thousand construction jobs and four hundred permanent healthcare positions. The hospital will be the first in the region to provide sub-specialty services that are currently unavailable in the region. “Today I want to thank everyone who helped out with this,” said Representative Sosnowski. He continued, “This will be a great economic engine and save lives Northwest Illinois.”
