Today Representative Sosnowski and the Attorney General’s office hosted seminars at the Heritage Woods residences in Belvidere and Rockford.
The seminars provided insightful information on fraud alerts, common scams and how to protect your personal information if you believe that you are a victim of consumer fraud or identity theft.
“Arming yourself with knowledge is the best protection from consumer fraud,” stated Representative Joe Sosnowski. “Many of us have received scam calls or mailers from impostors and it is important to familiarize ourselves with how to appropriately handle these potentially dangerous situations.”
