ROCKFORD– Local residents with questions or concerns on issues impacting the State of Illinois are invited to attend either of two upcoming early mornings “Coffee Talk with Joe” events hosted by State Representative Joe Sosnowski in Roscoe on Monday, July 30 and in Belvidere on Thursday, August 16. The coffee talks are open to the public. All are welcome. Coffee will be provided courtesy of Representative Sosnowski.

“Coffee talks are a valuable opportunity for me to listen to the concerns of local residents firsthand,” Representative Sosnowski said. “We are at a critical juncture in state history in terms of state spending, taxes, and the investments we make in education, public safety, and many other areas. We also need to have a serious, thoughtful conversation about the need for pension reform and property tax relief. I encourage everyone who has questions, comments or concerns to come to make their voice heard at either of my coffee talks in Roscoe or Belvidere.”
