Sarah Chevrier joins Office of Rep. Joe Sosnowski as Community Relations Coordinator

Sarah Chevrier of Poplar Grove has joined the office of State Representative Joe Sosnowski, R-Rockford, in the role of Community Relations Coordinator for the 69th District, which includes portions of Winnebago, Boone and McHenry Counties. The Community Relations Coordinator serves as a liaison from the Representative’s office to local nonprofit organizations, civic and business groups, and local government entities to help connect residents of the 69th District with State of Illinois programs and services.

Most recently, Chevrier worked at Rockford Christian Schools from 2012-2022, where she served as Admissions Director for the past two years and the International Program Director for the past six years. She is a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Stout with a B.S. in Business Administration. “As we start a new year, I am excited to join the team to support the people of the 69th District,” Chevrier said. “I am eager to get out into the community to start working with those in the district.  I hope to learn from organizations, families, and individuals about the needs of the community and how we can work together to make this a great place to call home!”

“Sarah will be an outstanding addition to our team serving the new 69th District,” Representative Sosnowski said. “We are looking forward to being very active and engaged with the work community organizations do in service to individuals and families throughout the year, identifying where the state resources our office provides can help make the Stateline region and far northwestern suburbs a great place to live, work, raise a family, start a business, get a top-notch education, and retire with dignity.”
