State Rep. Joe Sosnowski (R-Rockford) issued the following statement on the death of former State Rep. Ron Wait (R-Belvidere) on Monday:
“I am saddened to hear of the passing of my predecessor, former State Representative Ron Wait.
He was hugely instrumental in so many ways in Boone County and the surrounding area, and he will be missed. Rest in peace.”
Rep. Wait served in the Illinois House of Representatives from 1983-1993 and 1995-2011.
