Rep. Sosnowski eager to get back to work; looks ahead to Fall Veto Session

State Representative Joe Sosnowski, R-Rockford, issued the following statement on the results of the 2024 General Election:

“Now that the election has concluded and voters have made their voices heard, it is time to get back to work.  As a country we need to stop the harsh political rhetoric and personal attacks that we see from news sources, on social media, and in commercials.  These tactics marginalize the American public.

We have a lot of issues to tackle to make Illinois a more affordable place to live, work, start a business, get a good education, and retire with financial security. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the people of the 69th District in the Illinois House of Representatives for the next two years. I congratulate all the winners of local elections in Winnebago, Boone, and McHenry Counties. We will work together to find solutions to the challenges families in our community are dealing with. I am eager to get back to work on your behalf as legislators return to Springfield for the Fall Veto Session over the next two weeks.”

Representative Sosnowski serves the 69th District which includes portions of Winnebago, Boone, and McHenry Counties.
